Virginia Frances Schwartz: Hello. My name is Virginia Frances Schwartz. And that is a mouthful. My name, Virginia, comes from a famous writer. My mother actually named me after Virginia Woolf. And if you look her up, she was a writer who's works span many, many decades and she was very successful. And she gave wonderful advice for writers. She said, "You must have a room of your own to work in." It took me many years to get a room of my own, and as soon as did, I started to write more. So her advice worked.
My middle name, Frances, is my confirmation name, but it's also the name of my mother and my grandmother. So I always put it on my books even though it makes my name really, really long. And when I do that is because both my mother and my grandmother were storytellers, and they would have loved to read my stories too.
