Mary Brigid Barrett: Hello, my name is Mary Brigid-Barrett. I am the oldest of seven younger brothers and sisters, and all of my sisters have the first name Mary, and all of my brothers have the first name Joseph, unbelievable. I'm the only one that doesn't have a nickname. I'm Mary Brigid and I'm the only one that's actually called Mary, you know, just Mary for short. It was a huge problem when I started dating, especially when I met my husband who is tall, dark, and gorgeous. He called our house and he asked my brother, Joseph, if Mary was at home. My brother Joe said, "Which one?" My husband-to-be said, "The one with brown hair and glasses." My brother Joe said, "Which one?" Finally, I just said, "Give me the phone" because I knew it was him and I was desperate for this phone call from this handsome, gorgeous guy.
