Charis Cotter: Hello, my name is Charis Cotter. Charis rhymes with Paris. You don't say the H.
My name was given to me by my father who was studying Greek when I was born. And Charis is a Greek word that means grace. It's the same root as charisma, and I always like to tell people that because I'm an actor as well as a writer, and I like to think that I have quite a bit of charisma.
