Laura Shovan: Hello. My name is Laura Shovan. Many people like to pronounce my name in a French way, Shovan, and that's okay with me. My grandfather was born in France. But it's actually a Hungarian name. It belongs to my husband's family. In Hungary, the word is pronounced SHUH-VON and it means skinny, which is funny to me because all of the Shovan's are pretty skinny.
