Liz Garton Scanlon: Hello, my name is Elizabeth Garton Scanlon. There are lots of nicknames for Elizabeth, including Beth, Betsy, Beth, Libby, Eliza, and Liza, but I go by Liz. I was born with the last name Garton. It rhymes with carton and my husband gave me the last name Scanlon. One of my illustrator friends calls me Liz Garden Salad and I answer to that too.
